Gerard A. Adcock, age 89 of Stockdale, passed away on March 28, 2024. Gerard was born on June 19, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas to Rosalee (Campbell) and Evan Adcock.
Gerard grew up in San Antonio and will be remembered as a graduate of St. Gerard High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Most of Gerard’s career was spent as the Director of Biomedical Repair in both Houston and Victoria.
Gerard was preceded in death by his son, Andy, his parents, and his siblings, Margie, Rosemary, Evelyn, Michele, Doris, and Evan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Shirley Ann Fisher Adcock; sons, Dale Adcock, Jeffrey Adcock (Mirabel), and Christopher Adcock; brother, Barney Adcock; grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah, Wayden, Keith, Trey, Jake, and Madisyn; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Eulaila, and Lucious; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel in San Antonio, Texas with the Reverend Canon Stanislaw Fiuk officiating. Interment with military honors will follow immediately in the Holy Cross Cemetery outside the chapel.
